In July 1984 I got to know people in "Utgast/Ostfriesland" and they introduced me to
flying models. I fell for it straight away and hardly 6 months later I possessed my first
model with an engine and before I could control the different movements properly,
I crashed it 7 times. 8-(
My present club is MFC Spelle.

There was a creative break from model flying from 1989 - 1996. But at the end of 1995, when I was a conscript with the army I met Weter and got again infected with the model flying bug.
